It took just 60 seconds for Dana White to walk off the latest episode of Howie Mandel Does Stuff, wearily saying he’s ‘so f-ing tired’ of podcasts.

UFC President Dana White has been on somewhat of an intense media tour in recent weeks, promoting both Power Slap and this weekend’s big PPV as rumors swirl around the potential main event of UFC 300.

Unfortunately for Howie Mandel, the MMA boss said he was “literally done” with podcasting just 60 seconds into the latest episode of ‘Howie Mandel Does Stuff’, before storming off the comedian’s web show.

White storms off Mandel’s podcast after an odd introduction

Dana White already appeared irritated when Howie Mandel started introducing him, less than 20 seconds into episode #164 on February 13.

Mandel, who is known for judging America’s Got Talent and being the voice of ‘Gizmo’ from the Gremlins movie, showered White with praise for a full 30 seconds with some rather interesting compliments for the MMA promoter.

“Dana White you are an amazing guy, I can’t thank you enough for being here…You are not only an amazing businessman, you are an inspiration, you are a philosopher, the way you do business, the way you conduct your business and your friendships and media…I’m jealous but Dana, I can’t thank you enough for being here.”

Whilst initially Dana appeared happy with such a pleasant introduction, things quickly took a turn: “Thank you for all the kind words I appreciate it [but] I am so f***ing tired of doing podcasts, I’m literally done with them. I’m not doing any more podcasts.”

Yet the comedian could never have envisioned that White would actually make good on his words with such immediate and certain effect, walking off the hour-long show after just 60 seconds leaving both hosts and guests bewildered.

Ironically, the MMA community has seemingly reacted positively to the unusual walk-off, many suggesting that the introduction from Mandel sounded sarcastic or back-handed with ‘MMA Gone Wild’ commenting how the whole interaction “was oddly satisfying.”

White says he’ll reveal UFC 300 main event at post-fight presser

Speaking to veteran MMA journalist Kevin Iole ahead of UFC 298 on Saturday, White also revealed that he could be close to confirming the main event for UFC 300: “I’ll probably announce it at the [post] press conference this weekend.”

Many MMA fans have taken this to mean that the UFC 300 main event won’t be a super-fight involving Conor McGregor, Alex Pereira or another star name, since the UFC would be more likely to announce their respective returns during the broadcast itself.

The post-fight press conference will be live-streamed online after the conclusion of the PPV broadcast.
